See a story evolve from the beginning stages, to a full blown story.

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy your visit to my writing blog! Please keep mind a few points however:
1: These posts are still drafts, but the older they are the more likely they are to have been edited to be more professional.
2: I have a life, so I'll have active stretches and inactive stretches. Just hang in there and keep poking me.
3: The posts are in the order they are posted, so you can either go through the archive, or start at the bottom of the page.
4: All posts should be in this format:
Heading--Chapter _(# of chapter)-_(# post in that chapter)

Body-- the actual story- the further since it says I posted, the better it should be.

Enjoy your self!

Chapter 2-2

“What is the meaning of this,” demanded Elizabeth. “You break into my castle, shoot my nurse, and think you can get away with it? I think not. What did...” she was cut off as one of the men made a motion with his hand like he was slapping her. The result was that she was now gaged with magic.

She was outraged. They could have been forgiven the breaking and entering, but shooting her nurse and threatening her was too much. Her only problem was that she could barely breath, much less speak.

The men stepped forward. “The child...children. Comply with us and you will not be harmed.” His voice was harsh, like rock falling on gravel. It barely sounded human.

There was nothing Elizabeth could do. They crept forward, and one drew a long curved dagger. They reached the foot of her bed, and each one went to an opposite side of her bed.

They one with the dagger drew it back to strike, and plunged it into the first child, the boy. There was a electric sound and the dagger leapt from the mans hand and skittered to the other end of the room. The man stumbled backwards, and exploded into little droplets of water, scattering all over the tiled floor.

The other black masked raider hesitated, looking around at what happened to his partner. Then he pulled out a dagger of his own, and plunged it into the girl. The dagger touched her and melted. The hilt burst into flame, and the man combusted. Elizabeth could see him in flames right next to her bed. His screams echoed around. However she couldn't feel any heat.

The man collapsed and smoldered out. The boy clapped his hands together, just like a normal toddler. But Elizabeth knew, these children were not normal.

However she never got to find out how special her children were.
